YEARBOOK 2002
JA48 is a retrospective edition of the architecture of 2002. This was also a year of multifarious architectural projects being built all over the world. The relation of each project to its scale and environs differ, along with other factors, such as completion time. Additionally, there is not only new construction, but also restorative work. Buildings are rooted in a place, continuing their use for differing lengths of time. In this issue, projects are arranged by area, accompanied by a location map. With this, the relationship of the building to the environs and specifics of the site can be grasped. Introduced here is only a small portion of the total; however, it is our hope that one can discover the present conditions and possibilities created by these projects.
